Our Commitment to Authenticity

At EZO STREET, every item goes through multiple layers of authenticity checks before it reaches you.

Each piece is carefully inspected at least twice—during registration at purchase and again before listing for sale.

Importantly, every item is also reviewed by women on our team, whose exceptional color perception (as research by Prof. Israel Abramov, City University of New York, suggests) allows them to spot even the most subtle differences that others might miss.

How We Authenticate

Our process is thorough and hands‑on, focusing on the details where craftsmanship—and authenticity—are most evident.

Step 1. Overall Condition

  • We assess whether each brand’s craftsmanship is present (counterfeits often reveal flaws).
  • We check the fabric for scuffs, scratches, stains, or tears.
  • Even stitching is a key authenticity indicator.

Step 2. Corners

  • Corners are most exposed to damage from hard surfaces, so we look for signs of wear carefully.

Step 3. Handles & Straps

  • Areas that often darken or wear down from friction with hands or clothing are closely examined.

Step 4. Openings

  • We ensure zippers open and close smoothly.
  • Like handles, these areas are prone to rubbing and peeling.

Step 5. Brand Tags

  • Each brand has its own authentication markers, such as serial numbers (Louis Vuitton), white tags (Prada), or authenticity seals (Chanel).

Step 6. Interior

  • We check for stains, tears, or unpleasant odors inside.

Step 7. Hardware

  • We inspect metal parts for fading, dullness, or rust.

Through these meticulous steps, we make sure every piece we offer is genuine, cared for, and ready for its second life with you.

Check for any changes to the bag's condition while in storage

We carefully inspect for any scratches, marks, or discoloration that may have occurred since the bag was first received.

Place in a waterproof bag

This step protects the bag from moisture during shipping.

Wrap in bubble wrap

The bubble wrap provides a protective layer against impact.
